- You spend up to four hours with researchers and trackers following a gorilla family still being acclimated to human presence, in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park's Rushaga sector, well beyond the one-hour limit of a standard trek.
- How It Feels
- The gorillas are less predictable than a fully habituated family, so moments of calm, close viewing alternate with longer stretches of following the group through dense forest.
- Who It's For
- Travelers who have already done a standard gorilla trek and want significantly more time, and anyone specifically interested in gorilla conservation and research.
- Good to Know
- Only Rushaga sector offers this permit, capped at a maximum of four visitors per group per day, far fewer than a standard trek.
